As an avid local volunteer, Richard Bolton is the Past President of the Milton Chamber of Commerce and has been the chair of the Milton Chamber Marketing and Communication Committee for the last 5 years. He was the recipient of Volunteer of the Year Award for 2008 for his contributions to the new Milton Chamber of Commerce website and the Escarpment Country website to promote local tourism. He sits on the Communications Committee for the United Way of Milton and has been very active developing a social media strategy for this charitable organization. He is one of the founders and race director of the United Way 10k Run, a race to support the United Way Milton. Richard is proud of his commitment to business networking and has created a success networking group called Milton Business Connections. Committed to youth sports, Richard teaches skiing for The Ontario Track 3 Ski Association at Glen Eden Ski and Snowboard Centre, a program for disabled youngsters.
